About Bec

Hailing from the beautiful island of Tasmania, Bec spent most of her youth working hard so she could travel harder. As a result she built a solid work ethic and an unquenchable thirst for adventures.

With a Bachelor of Business, Bec spent several years in media, advertising and fashion styling before completing a Cert IV in Interior Design & Decoration at RMIT in 2012 and launching her own business the same year.

Drawn to exploration and collaboration, being creative hasn't just served as a career choice for Bec. Playing dress ups has been part of her life for as long as she can remember, so it seemed second nature to pursue a professional path in styling and design. Bec takes inspiration from travel, team work and an eternal sense of optimism. A lover of spontaneity, summer, Motown (especially on Mondays), nostalgia, romance and getting her hands dirty, Bec is at her most natural state when she's thinking on her feet, making new connections or brainstorming a wild idea over a dirty martini (preferably in a bikini, near a body of water).

Bec lives in Melbourne with her husband, self-taught artist Adoni Astrinakis. She is also a co-founder of Nathan + Jac, a curated collection of professionally styled design packs for the home decorator.
